Earth hour

Well tonight 830-930pm local time we participated in earth hour... Got the bug in bed and turned off all electrical in the house except bugs night light of course. Jeff and I looked stupid at each other for a couple seconds in the dark then flew around the radio control helicopter. Yes in the dark lol. We then tried to scare one another, that got old fast. So we decided to take a walk to the gas station as Jeff wanted a beer. It was so quiet out (small town usual) only noise is Main st where all the local bars are. While walking we got to see the neighborhood screech owls teach there baby how to fly and hunt, it was so cute... the baby cried the entire time. On the way back home as we stepped out to walk past an alley, came a truck FLYING towards us so we backed up and waited for him to pass up. The truck stopped we crossed in front of it as we walked past then older man stuck his head drunk as can be laughing tell us no worries he wouldn't of hit us been in trouble for that once before and never again... it was really funny but man he was soooo drunk only wish he was that funny on his feet not behind the wheel of a truck. I was trying to figure out if he has hit someone before or if he was implying something else or maybe he had no clue what he was saying LOL. Got home just has earth hour had ended. Walk was nice though. I think there should be more organized earth hours throughout the year.
