Update: the past week events

So last Thursday woke up everything was as normal, went to go make K pancake as I was standing in front of the stove I felt a big gush. Sure enough it was blood, bright red and a lot of it. I thought the worst, but stayed calm as I have no control over what happens in the end anyway. I called my ob office whom told me to go to ER. Went to ER, bleeding had stopped, cervix was closed, blood work came back good solidly pregnant the RN said. Doc ordered an ultrasound but by that time it was past 5pm so they sent me home and had be go back Friday early for u/s. They found some blood in there, baby was measuring right on target with a nice heartbeat, nice and high in my uterus apparently the best place to implant. Went back to the ER doc whom told me bed rest for the next few days and said I had a subchrionic bleed near the placenta. Nonetheless went home rested next few days with no further bleeding only old brown. Now the brown is gone and all seems fine. Now I am just waiting for my OB appt Aug 7th a bot over a week away. Been knock on wood pretty uneventful since last week. Looking forward to seeing baby again.

6 weeks and can you say...

morning sickness?!?! Day 3 of morning sickness that is off and on all day, so far its manageable :) nothing toast doesn't fix for now too bad it took 2 days to figure this out) if it stays like this I can totally handle it! Today is exactly 6 weeks couple more weeks until my appt woohooo!! Not much else to say, I really didn't think I would start feeling sick this early! I am not complaining comes with the territory, and for that I am blessed.

Some more rambling :)

Rambling about something and nothing all at the same time- that's what I do best! 5 weeks 3 days pregnant today only 3 weeks until our appt. Yippee! Can't wait to share the news after that appt. I have this feeling we will have a boy, however had this same feeling when I was pregnant with K before we were told she was a she. We shall see!

1 in 17 chances of having twins being I am a fraternal twin myself. Never know. Lol funny thought.

On another note we have been busy painting the house. Its been getting hot out and I consistently remind myself not to over do it. The new color is really nice, coming along great only 1/4 way done though. 3000 sq ft is a whole lot of paint and house.

Lets see what else, oh in the process of downsizing my laying hens... and raising up new chicks for next spring. Had a horrible hatch rate this time very disappointed about it however am I really gonna have all this time on my hands next spring? Eh no. Probably not with a newborn and a 4 yr old :)

5 weeks!

Today I'm officially 5 weeks pregnant! Crazy! 3 1/2 weeks until my appt :) I simply cannot be more excited! I am so thankful I have no sickness, hoping it stays away from this pregnancy. Not a whole to say accept it has sunk in. We are gonna be parents of two come March. K is gonna be a big sis. I am so excited to tell her but waiting for a while before I do. Everything is going good. Decided to finally get the painting done on the outside of house which we have been putting off. Its a HUGE job a lot of paint and labor and only 3.25 people doing it if you count K LOL.... Will look great when its done for sure!

I just had to...

Decided since it had been several days since I tested, and my appt isn't for nearly a month I would poas again... talked myself out of the costly digital got Walmart brand instead. Lets just say within seconds the test line was wayyyyy darker then the control line LOL oh yeah very much pregnant :) made my evening even though I already knew this! I'm hoping for an ultrasound so I can see this baby asap on my 1st appt but being I am going to a new doc not sure of the standard routines. Hoping though :)

Had 2 EXTREMELY RARE light Sussex chicks hatch out past couple days.. I will post pics soon, they are adorable! More crested polish chicks due to hatch very soon! Looking to sell of my current laying hens before fall to lesson the load in preparation for next springs polish only flock.

Scheduled my first appt!!!

Yay! I called and got my first appt! She was going to schedule me for the 20th of July but I asked to be scheduled a bit further out so J could come with me :) so its officially Aug 7th! Day before my b day :) I will almost be 9 weeks then woohooo! One would think sooner was better and well for impatience yes that's true. However It was important to have Jeff there and by then we have a chance of hearing the heartbeat! Gosh I'm so excited!!! Finally on our way :)

A great day!

I have officially known for about 24 hours that I'm pregnant. I think it is the best feeling ever right now! I am thankful for every minute of it. Tested once more this morning to confirm what I know. Test is wayyyyy darker. Even darker then when I tested with K. I am still so amazed by it all right now. With any luck this will be my March baby :) the month of green. Not too long ago I thought it would be a couple years before this day came.... I just feel so blessed, cannot be more thankful then right now for this chance. I am thankful for the wonderful support people in my life, for my family and friends. I have had a wonderful day and tomorrow is only going to get better. I think Ill call my doc tomorrow and schedule an appt. :)
